And there was me thinking My Yodel were the worst courier’s ever..well that crown has gone to Royal Mail!
I had 2 parcel’s come Saturday when I was swimming and did a redelivery order on the website for it all to be delivered today…Ok so far, the door knock’s at 7.40am and there is a parcel for me…Hmm I am supposed to have 2 I say.
Oh I was only given one to bring out!
Right well I get onto the sorting office to make a complaint and am told it’s my own fault s I didn’t specify on the website that I had 2 parcel’s to be delivered – that’s fine but in the past when I have had more than 1 they have been bought out together!
Well I can redeliver tomorrow, Friday or Saturday – Um I don’t want any of those day’s I set today aside for redelivery and I expect it to be delivered today as per my instructions on your website – well it’s your own fault you didn’t put 2 redeliveries on the website.
Can I make a complaint please, a lot of huffing later the manager comes on the phone and I explain again to him what has happened and that I expect it to come out today – he is in agreement that it will come out today and apologised. I explained once more that no where does it state that I have to put 2 deliveries down on the website and it’s not rocket science to realise you have 2 of the same name and address so bring them both out!
Honestly there is no common sense from these companies – the end result is the parcel is coming out today but I shouldn’t have to complain to get this sorted – seriously annoyed this morning with them!
I alway’s knew they were dumb but this dumb. No way!
I now have to wait for the delivery, I have told the driver to leave it outside if I don’t get to the door…I told the manager the reason I had it down for today was because I can’t carry 2 parcel’s when I am using crutches!
